Allison first sang mezzo with Think Floyd USA in June 2014, then happily migrated down to the alto spot. A former professional ballet dancer, Allison graduated from the North Carolina School of the Arts and danced with companies in Boston and Paris.

 

In her high school choir, Allison learned to sing harmonies. For the next 20 years, she focused on ballet and fiction writing, occasionally publishing short fiction, before the pull of harmony vocals and big chest-belting leads became too compelling to resist.
